The problem
A field rep covering a territory ends up with prospects scattered across a phone, a notebook and a string of texts, with no one place that says who's hot, who's already been called, and what happens next. Nothing sorts itself by priority, and nothing exports cleanly when someone else needs the list.
A working lead desk for a territory like Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Sikeston needs to be fast to update between stops, honest about which figures are estimates, and simple enough that a rep actually keeps it current.
What it does
- Eleven tracked columns
- Business, Category, Est. avg ticket*, Phone, Google rating, Priority, Status, Contact name, Last contact, Next step, Notes.
- Seven pipeline stages
- New, Contacted, Follow-up, Meeting set, Proposal out, Won, Lost — plus a separate "Not interested" status for a prospect that's done, not just cold for now.
- Three priorities
- Hot, Warm, Cold — set on every lead so the list can be worked in the right order.
- Filters, sorts and the rest
- Filter by city, category, status and priority; sort by priority, estimated ticket, rating, name or city; add a lead, export the list to CSV, or reset local edits back to a clean start.
* Est. avg ticket is a planning estimate, not a verified figure — the tool says so on the screen, not just here.
How it's built
It runs entirely in the browser — no server round-trip for a filter, a sort or an edit. Add a lead or change a field and it shows up immediately; export to CSV any time to hand a clean list to someone else. Resetting clears local edits back to the starting list.
It's built around one field territory — Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Sikeston — rather than trying to be a general-purpose CRM.
What we'd do next
Next is wiring it to wherever a rep's leads actually originate today, so a new prospect lands on the desk without being typed in by hand, and connecting the CSV export to whatever the office already uses downstream.
